About the APP

Survival Guide is for educational and preparedness purposes. In an actual emergency, always follow instructions from your local emergency services and government authorities.

What is Survival Guide?

Survival Guide is a comprehensive, offline-first crisis readiness guide built for anyone who wants to be prepared — before disaster strikes.

In a world of increasing climate volatility, geopolitical uncertainty, and everyday emergencies, the information you need to protect yourself and your family shouldn't depend on an internet connection. Survival Guide puts a complete survival library in your pocket — one that works when the power is out, the towers are down, and the situation is real.

From floods and earthquakes to first aid, evacuation planning, and mental health under pressure — Survival Guide covers it all, written in clear and practical language that anyone can follow.

Why We Built This

Most emergency information is scattered across government websites, PDF guides, and online articles — none of which you can access when you need them most.

We built Survival Guide because we believe preparedness should be accessible to everyone, everywhere, regardless of connectivity. Whether you're in a major city or a remote village, whether you're preparing for a cyclone season or just want a solid first aid reference on your phone — Survival Guide is designed to be there when it matters.

Key Features

Fully Offline

Once synced, every article is available without an internet connection. No ads, no paywalls, no data required.

Three Reading Modes

  • Dark mode — optimised for low-light and tactical use
  • Light mode — clean and readable in daylight
  • Reading mode — warm sepia tones and wider type for long reading sessions

Full-text search across every article and your personal notes — instant results as you type, with tag filtering to narrow down topics fast.

Personal Notes

Create your own notes — evacuation routes, family plans, medication lists, emergency contacts — stored privately on your device. They never touch our servers. Share them with family members as Markdown files via WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging app. Import notes shared by others with a single tap.

Sync Only What Changed

When you sync, Survival Guide only downloads articles that are new or updated — saving your data and time. The full library is available offline once synced.

Bookmarks & History

Bookmark articles you reference often. Recently viewed articles are always one tap away from the home screen.

Content Standards

Every article in Survival Guide is:

  • Researched — cross-referenced against WHO, Red Cross, FEMA, CDC, and national disaster management authorities
  • Actionable — written to tell you exactly what to do, not just what's happening
  • Globally relevant — applicable anywhere in the world, with regional variations noted where they matter
  • Regularly updated — content is reviewed and refreshed as best practices evolve

Survival Guide is a living guide. New articles are added and existing ones are updated as the world changes.

Your Privacy

Survival Guide is built with privacy at its core:

  • No account required — download and use immediately
  • No tracking — we do not collect usage data, analytics, or behavioural information
  • No advertising — Survival Guide is ad-free
  • Notes stay on your device — your personal notes are never synced to our servers

See our full Privacy Policy for details.
