SURVIVE is a crisis readiness and survival guide application ("the App") developed and maintained by Shwez Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). The App provides educational information about emergency preparedness, natural disasters, medical first aid, and survival techniques for general informational purposes.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
- You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

We expressly disclaim any liability for actions taken or not taken based on information provided in this App.
4. Permitted Use
You may use SURVIVE for:
- Personal emergency preparedness and education
- Family and household emergency planning
- General survival knowledge and reference
- Sharing notes and guides with family members or contacts
You must not use SURVIVE for:
- Any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Distributing harmful, false, or misleading information to others
- Attempting to access, modify, or interfere with the App's backend systems
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the App
- Using the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
5. User-Generated Notes
The App allows you to create personal notes ("Notes") stored locally on your device. Regarding Notes:
- Notes are private by default — they are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to export or share them
- You own your Notes — we make no claim over content you create within the App
- Shared Notes — if you choose to export and share a Note with another person, you are solely responsible for the content of that Note and its appropriateness
- No backup guarantee — we are not responsible for loss of Notes due to device failure, app deletion, or any other cause. We recommend you export important Notes regularly.
- Content responsibility — you are solely responsible for the content of any Notes you create. Do not use Notes to store, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within SURVIVE — including but not limited to text, guides, structure, design, icons, and software — is the property of Shwez Studio or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute App content for commercial purposes
- Claim ownership of any content provided within the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices
You may:
- Share content from the App with others for personal, non-commercial preparedness purposes
- Reference App content in personal notes or preparations
7. Content Sync and Connectivity
SURVIVE downloads and stores content locally on your device for offline access. Regarding this functionality:
- Sync is manual and user-initiated — we do not sync data without your action
- We do not guarantee availability of the sync server at all times
- We are not liable for content that is outdated due to a failure to sync
- You are responsible for ensuring you have synced content before entering areas with limited connectivity
8. Third-Party Services
SURVIVE uses Directus as a content management backend. Your use of the App may involve interaction with third-party services. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of any third-party services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shwez Studio shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of life, personal injury, or property damage arising from reliance on information in this App
- Loss of data, including user-created Notes
- Interruption or unavailability of the App or its content
- Any decisions made based on information provided in this App
You expressly acknowledge that survival and emergency situations carry inherent risk, and that the information in this App is provided to supplement — not replace — professional training, official guidance, and sound personal judgement.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shwez Studio, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Changes to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time
- Update these Terms and Conditions at any time
When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the App in a manner harmful to others.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
